Steering carefully away from the 'who isn't picking anything yet' thread...thanks to Pigletwillie's patent spring onion module growing technique
we have just harvested our first ever spring onions!
Well they're a tiny bit small but I wanted to try some. They taste quite good, but not too strong, I'd like a bit more kick so perhaps if I'd left them longer - the next lot will no doubt tell.
Anyway this lot are 'white lisbon' the next lot coming along are shimonita. What are your favourite tasting spring onions?
