Two quick questions please...

Hi there, sorry to be a dimwit but I have two very quick questions:

1. How do I know if my spring onions are ready to harvest?

2. Is it too late in the year to begin growing mushrooms?

2. No, but they grow best at about 18 c so it is best to grow in Spring and Autumn
