Question about Sweetcorn.

Hi All

I'm looking at buying some Sweetcorn Siesta plants from Grown For You in net pots. It says you get 6 plants - do they produce multiple cobs, or is it one cob per plant?

Sweetcorn plants usually produce 2 - 3 cobs per plant.

Try it RAW within seconds of picking and without butter.............it's the only way I eat mine!

I've only ever got one cob off each plant.

I think it depends on where you are and your growing conditions. I only get one decent one per plant - and maybe a couple will have a smaller cob too. When I were a lass (cue violins!) it was only one year in 3 you'd get a crop at all from corn. Better varieties, global whatsit etc. and we can all get something. But here on the East Coast it's not a high yielder.
