Hi there, I have grown peas in part shade and they have done really well. That was last year. This year I have grown some in full sun as well as the sahdy spot and comparitively there is little between them.
Most veg tends to grow better in the sun, a good example is a row of runner beans aligned east west. The row will produce more beans on the south side of the row. However thre will be beans on the north side and runners are such good croppers that it will hardly be noticeable.If that is the only place to grow them then you have very little to loose by growing them there.
