  • eating fresh from the garden

    this evening we had a superb dinner. fresh from the garden came international kidney potatoes, early nantes carrots, purple top milan turnips, greyhound summer cabbage and in with the beef and gravy was radar yellow onions. the greyhound was a big success along with the potatoes.

      Now all you need is a house cow for the beef and milk and chooks for the eggs for the Yorkshire puds!

                  Got to agree with you,there is nothing like it.Really lovely to have food grown in your own garden.I suppose its too late to sow greyhound seed now? Have an unopened pack here, have grown Hispi which is also nice.
