  • Too Late For Leeks?

I planted my leek seeds late as the beds were not ready. I planted at the end of May. The leeks are about one inch high at the moment. Is it too late to get a decent crop?

If so can you suggest anything else I could plant this late in the season rather than leave the bed unused.

    Thanks

Leeks take 9-12 months to get a crop.

Put them in a corner somewhere, use the ground for the summer and replant them in their final positions once the summer crops are harvested.

Thanks Zazen I will do as you suggest. I have a quiet spot for them.
