Lol, compared to the greenhouse ones the ones under light are huge but I agree they are small compared to those that people sowed a lot earlier in the year, for overall height and leaf bulk some have overtaken the Habanero I bought but i know the Hab is a slower grower. I will post more pics in a month or so for another comparison.

I am even treating this year as an experiment for other things as well because it is how i like to learn things, our first Cucumbers are starting to develop, Courgettes likewise, 3 Cherry Tomato plants are in flower, another 13 are at a smaller stage (we lost a batch of moneymakers due to nutrient defiency and the Cherry ones have been given to us by a neighbour and my inlaws), the Spring Onions have failed completely, only 2 Carrots from 2 rows have come up, 1 Turnip and 7 Beetroot, this I put down to the soil not being right (will prepare and manure it better over winter and introduce some sand in an area for things like the carrots). There are 6 Sweetcorn that have just been planted out, a bed of Peas which are growing nicely and around 20 Runner Beans are coming on steadily.

Camomile is struggling, Bay bush is thriving, Rosemary also doing well, 1 stick of Lemongrass is also doing very well, other 3 are no longer doing much but they have not gone brown and dried out either and i have just bought some Basil in a pot and will decide where to put that soon.

I feel that a lot has been learned already, still lots more to learn but I know that this site holds a world of information that i am sure next year things will be started on time and hopefully more successfully.
