And the tastiest tomato variety goes to.......

Someone I know who has been growing toms for years, (don't ask which variety ) says she waters with coca-cola occasionally. She says it makes the sweetest tomatoes ever. Can tell you no more. She just dropped it into conversation to-day.

Sungold, I just love the taste.

I always grow Shirley F1 because they are a reliable tasty tom. They are the only F1 I will grow!

That is my grandads fav, which i do grow as they are reliable and a good tom to grow, but i also grow some weird and wonderful heritage ones aswell, but butterfly is my favorite out of the rare ones, on one vine you can get 10 to 15 tomatos, i just havent worked out yet how to get them to ripen at the same time ! x

I'm looking forward to experimenting this year!
Last year all succumbed to blight before fruiting - and previously I've only done Tumbling Tom (yellow and red) in pots
Hundreds and Thousands are cute - but too small really :-(

                            cheers
