does it really take 3 years? how offten would they grow if you vut it right? how would you cut it right? is it worth it or would you grow something eles?

-Yes...takes three years but then you can harvest for further 25 years with not much maintenance
-Once a year...cut everything from about end of March to midsummers day....a good plant might give you a dozen or so a year.
-I think it is very worth it ...expensive to buy, delicious, my kids scoff it, I pay a hundred favours with it and its about when there's little else to eat on the plot.
