Pea Moth and Composting of

Having starting picking my crop I have been hit by what I have now identified as PeaMoth, the larvae stil wriggling about in the pods. WHat should I do with the pods I'm throwing away - is it safe to compost them with the larvae inside or should they just go in the bin?

Nah, just boil up the maggoty peas...extra protein.

Compost them. The maggots will quickly run out of food (the pea) and die.
