Help, funny looking bubble things on my potatoes

Hi Guys,

This is my first post and hope you can help.
This is my first season of planting veg. I have started to pull my first earlies not sure what varierty. Some of them have a funny bubbling effect on them. The skin on the potatoes are very thin and it is only on a few.

I have read about Potato wart and am wondering if this is it, also are they safe to eat? I have been growing in bags and the leaves have just started to dye off.

Don't usually get scab on earlies cos they aren't in the ground long enough! Sometimes you can get a pimpling effect if they'e been short of water.
As TS says........a piccie would be helpful!

Welcome to the Vine Angi.
A pic would help but if your potatoes have small white spots like pin pricks all over them then they've just been a bit over watered and it doesn't matter. But let's have a look.
