Advice please

Hi
I am growing Cucumbers for the first time this year.
I am growing them in a container indoors in my utility room
Eventhough they are growing like mad the Cucumbers are growing with white protruding spots. Please dont Laugh if this normal lol, as I said I'm new to this
Any advice would be great.
I have attatched a picture for yoou to see.

Helenuk, if I am correct in what you are referring to, then the little white spots are spines. Does the surface of the cuc seem prickly?
They are perfectly normal on some cucumbers. Just wipe over with a damp cloth to remove them before you eat them or scrape the knife edge down the sides to remove. The other end of the cuc has the last of the flower on it. Both perfectly normal.

Absolutely normal, they seem to get loss prominent as the cucumber grows. One of mine was really spiky at first but now it is almost ready to pick you can barely see the bumps.

now that is 1 perfect looking cucumber,am green with envie at the mo,just till mine decide to grow fruit lol,well done

Great cuc, well done you.
Lots of cucs have these prickly spines on, and sometimes it depends on the variety.
