It's so easy to do, i picked my 12 yr old daughter up from school on Wednesday to find her sitting there burnt and feeling dizzy turns out she had spent all day in the sun no shade or anything ,making a golf course something to do with creative learning week. Her dad has been up to the school to complain their answer we sent a news letter out saying put sunscreen on sunscreen does not protect you from heat stroke silly sods . she even went inside to ask if she could join another group they said no she hasn't been to school for 2 days so angry with them.

Letter to Governors and Local Education Authority, methinks.
If you don't get at least a grovelling apology, then a letter to your MP asking him to look into it will stir things up.
Children's safety is paramount and should be the primary responsibility of the school, even before education, as we cannot learn if we aren't safe.
