I'm crossing fingers as I will empty my bucket tomorrow... and at the moment I felt nothing while flurtling. They 've been in since beginning of April... just hope the spuds are further down, out of reach.
i've not had a big haul of potatoes out of tubs/buckets/bags this year either those dukes look great! Rabidbun, i've got a steamer that i use for my potatoes and all other veg, you can get three tier ones that sit on the hob, or a metal/bamboo dish that sits just above boiling water in a pot...both fairly cheap - mines were only about £7 each! Maybe another grape will have another method for steaming stuff..!

If you don't have an electric steamer, you can buy a metal steamer insert to sit on top of an ordinary saucepan. Boiling water in the pan, tatties in the steamer bit (looks like a colander) with a lid on top and away you go.
