I have grown carrots, sweetcorn, green beans, tyurnip, swede, spanish beans, peas, rhubarb, tomatoes, and I cannot believe nothing has gone wrong as yet, fingers crossed nothing will. How is everyone else doing.
Wish mine was doing well, kids been ill then i was ill so not been able to go for a couple of weeks and now the plot is covered in weeds.
Shame the stuff we want doesnt grow as fast as the weeds, going down there tomorrow weather permitting to sort it out with the wife and hopefully some willing kids (although I dont have much faith in them being willing)

Beware Greeks bearing gifts, or have you already got a wooden horse?... hehe.
so far we have picked six pounds of broadies, I have a large marrow almost ready for harvest and another on the way, a ton of overwintering onions, a fair few strawbs, and my courgettes are well on thier way with several ready for harvest. I have had a few tatties although I think I was too impatient and dug them early so I am being good and waiting for the rest. The only thing that has failed was one lot of peas which turned yellow and manky but fortunately my others are looking good. (touch wood)- oh and 114 eggs in five weeks from the chooks!!
I did the same thing with my potatoes so am now waiting for the next batch. Had a lovely stir fry of summer squash, broad beans, peas, french beans nd swiss chard and oh spring onions - lovely.

I know how you feel, broke my back 6 weeks ago so plans all went arse up(literally) or something like that. My raised bed is still not built and i had to shelve a lot of my plans i have this urge to dig the whole lawn up but cant dig at the moment so i have to sit and look at what should be my veg garden i have managed to grow some things but not as much as i wanted. I think i have enough strength in my arms to make bed now not sure if i should tho as back still causes pain but i have all this spare time and am very frustrated.
But i have had time to plan next years plot and i have lots of ideas not told my OH yet of plans.
