why didn't the redcurrants produce fruit?

I got 2 blackcurrant bushes from the garden centre and they have finished fruiting. I was very pleased as they were young bushes.
I also got 2 redcurrants from wilkos and they have done nothing. Grown some and got lovely leaves but no fruit (no flowers).
Why could this be?
Do I need to do anything to them for next year?

I had a new redcurrant and black current bush planted last autumn. They both produced lots of new leaves and grew to nice bush shapes. We harvested a good handfull of berries from the redcurrant, growing low down on the bush but nothing at all from the black current bush. I am hoping they will get better next year or any advice from peeps here.
