  • cauliflower problem

I have grown a couple of rows of caulis and after picking the first couple last weekend, when I looked at them today, they looked slightly pink.
Is this some kind of fungus on them? Can I do anything about it or are they no good?

    Hi,

    Could you be more specific?

is it the leaves or the curd?

I checked mine today and they've started to turn slightly pink and appear to have bolted. Are your heads compact or have they started to grow out of shape? Its my first time growing them so I'm only guessing but have googled it and I think that could be your problem too. Just need someone to tell me why they may have bolted now???

I'm just harvesting mine now, but they haven't gone pink. Did you bend/snap the nearest leaves over the flower which keeps them white and are they big enough to harvest? It's only a short time after they look ready to eat that the flower kind of "blows up" into what looks like little elder flowers instead of a hard, close together head.
