Probably a silly question but I think my wilja potatos are about ready (15 weeks) i have grown them in like pop up potato planters if I empty them and they are not quite done. If I am gentle can I put them back in? Does that make sense? Probably a silly question but hey you dont know if you dont ask!

The answer (which the vine won't allow) is yes.

Be gentle and try not to break too much of the foliage and they will be fine to be put back and left if needed.

or just have a delve down in to the soil and see if you can feel any potatoes - you can pick a few that way and leave the plants undisturbed

Yes Jax, you can slide them out carefully and have a look. If there are some big ones and lots of little ones you can take the big ones and slide the plants back in and leave for a few weeks. The litle ones will grow on and make a decent crop.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
