  • chillies, which variety?

    Hi everyone,

I have a chillie plant in my conservatory that has two round chillies on it. They are green and are larger than a golf ball, more like the size of a small apple. Any ideas what sort they are so i can reserch them as i dont know when they are ready for harvesting or anything.

They are deffinatly chillies as the leaves are too small for peppers or at least i think they are. I have another chillie plant and they are the same size leafs, my pepper leaves are much bigger.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Green witch

I was given the plant when it was just a seedling, it seems to have grow in the same way as the other chillie plant which is a halopino. But the fruits are very different.

To be honest it could be any one of dozens of varieties, your best bet is to try one and see what you think. Doesn't really matter what variety it is, if you like it! If the fruit is rather mild then leave them on for longer before trying again.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
