What's eaten my tomatoes?

Been on holiday for 2 weeks. Come back to the allotment and every one of my greenhouse beefsteak tomatoes have holes in them. Perfect cylinder holes!

I seen 2 slugs! Is it them? If so its WAR!!!!!

More likely to be caterpillars (or snails). Are the leaves damaged?

It doesn't seem like the leaves are damaged at all. They are really healthy looking apart from the fact they dont have many flowers on them.

I have beefsteaks, moneymakers, gardeners delight and tomatillos but the 9 fruits ive had so far from the beefsteaks have been eaten through!

Its so dissappointing. Im ready to slug pellet the whole lot!

I have the same problem with my beefsteak toms, its slugs or snails its mainly the lower ones that have been chewed just hoping they cant climb

Slugs will climb a bit, usually on walls, but snails get everywhere. I found one in a hanging basked which is suspended from a branch of my apple tree - I've got a feeling they may be able to fly too!!

Sorry to disappoint you PaulW but hungry slugs and snails are adept climbers - Seeing some of the places they get would convince you they can even fly.

The baby snails are the worst, they get everywhere ... top of bean canes, inside hanging baskets, behind wall planters, everywhere.

I found 2 slugs on my runner beans yesterday. They were about 6ft up off the ground
No where is safe from the little blighters!

The blue pellets are being dusted off and are getting thrown everywhere!

Could it be blackbirds Victoria. I've seen them having a go at my tomatoes.
