clear pots

hi all, recently bought some clear pots, mainly because they were very cheap,but i know that some plants don't like their roots exposed to light-just can't remember which! Can anybody help? I'm leaning toward repotting my peppers and chillis but would welcome any advice.

I tried clear pots once, and found they just encouraged green algae to form. I went back to black

Be a shame not to use them, could always paint them black or line them with a bit of a bin liner.

I used lemonade bottles cut in half this year for peppers and they grew really well with a contained but strong root ball. I punctured the bottom of the bottles for drainage and they worked well for me as I'd run out of pots.

Ok- so i mught try them for peppers! I might just use a cardboard for the rest. Watch this space-i'll tell you what i discover-hope it's not just record green algae, two sheds!!

You can't grow potatoes in clear or even white pots as the tatties go green! *As I found out to my detriment*
