    can you grow them? or are they just a version of broad bean or something?

      can't see why not, unless they have been treated to stop 'em growing they will be the same as any other bean seed

        Lima beans, aka butter beans (Phaseolus Lunatus).... need a growing season of about 4 months with relatively high temperatures, warmer than that needed by French or Runner beans.
