When you've got chooks there's no such thing as spare brassica's of ANY type.
I recently found some primo cabbage that I hadn't planted out. Cleared a weeded area and stuck them in...............if they come, fine.............if they don't I'm sure the chooks will appreciate the greenery!

I think you should ask RustyLady why she still has seed potatoes on her bathroom windowsill ... and onion sets still in their modules, bursting out of the sides.
