cabbage and pepper munchers?

found some tiny black wriggly critters on the underside of the leaves.. had a closer look and there's teeny weeny white eggs on the underside of some of them too, amazingly symmetrical but totally unwanted

what are they and how can i get rid of them? they're creeping me out

Not sure what they are but I would squish them.
My chillies and peppers have been plagued by tiny caterpillars this year, must have squished several hundred so far

how tiny is tiny? these are like 3mm long
