My new raised beds

My father in law is in my back garden drilling my new raised beds AT THIS VERY MOMENT - so excited!!! Just had to share!!

I'll be planting them up tomorrow if the rain holds off.

I've only got a small garden so I'm having two 1m sq raised beds and everything else is in containers. I've been wanting them for blinking AGES.

My only worry is that the timber I bought to make the beds has been treated for outdoor use. Will the chemicals affect my plants do you think?

Welcome to the Vine gogo, that's great news about your beds I've used treated decking boards for some of mine, sure they'll be fine.

Thanks! My plug plants are waiting to go in later today... spinach, lollo rosso, salad onions and calabrese... my beds are looking great and they only cost me a tenner! <smug>
