Made a spicy tomato and carrot soup the other day and stuck one chopped-up green chili in it. Spot on....what's this obsession with heat? I can't see the point of eating something that leaves you with no sense of taste for weeks, but then I'm funny like that...and I don't like garlic.

I have 19 cayenne chilli plants in my tunnel (it was 20 til Charlie demolished one whilst trying to catch a mouse) They are all laden with peppers and I have picked two full boxes of nice ripe red ones so far - and they are all hot.
I grow them hard as described - they get a little water once a week if I remember but they don't seem to object if I forget They get no feed or any other special treatment.
