Chocolate flavoured carrots???

Whilst looking for examples of carrot fly damage/larvae pics, I came across this. At the bottom they mention that somebody, somewhere, is developing a GM carrot that tastes of chocolate. As a scientist, even I think the world is bloody mad, if this is true!!!!!!

I wouldn't take much notice of the paragraph about them being low fliers and a 60cm barrier will reduce infection rates, the carrot fly is attracted by scent so doing anything on windy days will help disperse the scent and also they are apparently weak fliers, I wonder if they tested this by sticking a fly in a wind tunnel.
