Irregular growth pattern = splitting tomatoes. Hot day, cold day, hot day, you're fighting a losing battle against the British climate. Make sure the tap roots have a water "reservoir" for constant supply (very difficult if using growbags ).I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

I suspect it's the weather, not you. Annoying though. I do find that some varieties are worse than others. The otherwise admirable Sungold is a beggar for splitting.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
