Too late to sow beetroot?

Am I too late now to sow some more beetroot?? Had quite a good crop from our new raised bed and would like to some more if it's not too late.

Not really no, they wont be as big though.

They do manage colder weather ok, but just look a bit rough around the edges...get sowing now.!!

no it is not that late.. i picked up my beetroots and sowed some more in.. just couple of days back

Me too! I sowed a batch yesterday. I just love them.

I haven't sown them as I thought I'd left it too late - I got some plants from the garden centre a few weeks ago and they've settled in really well.

I didn't realize you could still sow them so late - good luck with them.

It's unlikely they would get bigger than ping-pong balls...I'll bet they're still tasty though
