Asparagus help needed

I bought some asparagus seedlings this year. The instructions said just plant them at the correct distances after improving the soil. They don't need the fuss of planting crowns, but will still need two years before you can pick a good quantity.
They went in around 6 weeks ago and are growing great guns. I think I made the right decision rather than wait to plant a year later.

Unless you're planning to move them in stages put them in the prepared bed at the planting distance for crowns. They will be a more or less permanent feature of your plot (asparagus can produce well for up to 20 years. Make sure you plant them deep enough.
