  • Cauliflower cut and come

I've never heard of this, but I'm sure most of you will have - if you have, what are your views?

I ordered some on Sunday, they arrived this morning - packaging superb, plants in excellent condition. They say, all being well, you should be able to pick for up to five years from these plants blimey

They appear to have a cropping period, which is Spring - they produce golf-ball sized heads it says - also little offshoots (think white sprouting broccoli) AND you can eat the leaves . What little troopers - hopefully

They continue for up to five years because they are perennial, well I never!

I've seen those advertised, I think from Victoriana. Never bothered buying them because only the OH eats cauliflower!
Be interesting to see how they do though, I've thought about trying the perennial broccoli and wondered if the yield gradually reduces over time?

Wow! that looks interesting - I live really close to Victoriana Nurseries, might have to pop along. Thanks Piskie.
