celeriac leaves ????

simple question but have googled it with no joy are celeriac leaves poisonous ...i have tried them myself but friends want to try them too and i would rather not go round poisoning my friends so pllllssss help

I use the leaves to make soup with instead of proper celery. They are perhaps a bit tough for a salad.
