Brief visit to the site, but a few suggestions :
a) Kale
b) Garlic - maybe mid-October ideally
c) Japanese onions
d) Calabrese (only works if you gamble on a warmish winter)
e) Spring onions
f) Leeks
There are probably a lot more, but it depends on your location. the above is what I'm hoping can get a month or so of growth and will withstand the cold and all of them are dead-certs unless we get loads of frost in November.
