Chilli plant die back

Hi folks

On some of my chilli plants I'm getting die-back on the stems. They are going brown and it is steadily progressing down the stems. They are in an unheated greenhouse.

Any ideas? I didn't want to lose the plants so early and would love to try to over-winter some of them,

Do you think they could have had a touch of frost? It's been cold here lately - my garden courgette plant seems to have taken a knock in the leaf department. It might be worth taking one or two of the ones that have not yet succumbed indoors now.

If I remember right, they need to be at least 10C day and night to survive

It's been colder than that in my greenhouse lately.

Mine are coming in at the weekend - after I've picked all the fruits off. I noticed something similar on mine recently and thought it must be cold damage.

Just been out to my greenhouse and I think we had a touch of frost last night - the aubrey and one tomato in the corner have gone wilty and yellow overnight.

Picked an aubrey off and trimmed back the tomato and keeping all doors and windows shut from now on; I left a window open last night - norty me...

I have the same probs, I've got 4 of mine inside now and have just clipped off all the dying leaves, still got little buds forming! Was gonna try and keep them on for as long as poss before chopping them down bare.
