I thought I would try an experimenet due to lack of space in my garden and in my raised beds. I have two large and slightly deeper than usual grow bags that had tomatoes in them and thought that I could cut the plastic out of the top completely and then top them up with a bit of fresh manure. I am going to cut out the bottoms of some 6 inch pots, fill them up with fresh compost, sit them in the growbags and then sow the broad beans into them.
I worked out that I could get 12 x 6 inch pots side by side or set them in two alternate rows.
Will this work?
Oh and of course it recycles my growbags
