This may be a silly question but last week I recieved my broad bean seeds which I have sown. However, in the bottom of the packet were several broken up seeds. Can these seeds still be sown or should I just bin them? Most of the are about half bean seeds.

I agree with both Rustylady and Ann, almost. There is a darker mark on the bean. If that is not complete then it really isn't worth it. The rest of the bean (seed) is just food for the growing tip so again, unless there is a substantial part of it left the bean will not be able to feed it's early roots and will just rot off. Not worth the hassle if you want to be sure of a good crop. Spend an extra quid or two.Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
