  • Help!!!

    My son needs to know what leaves can humans eat for his homework, we have the normal cabbage lettuce nettle vine mint spinach dandelion anything else anyone???

      oregano, basil, thyme, nasturtium, onion, chives, orache.....most herbs.....

        Turnip, Radish, Chard, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Brussel Sprout....all have edible leaves, probably lots more too but all I can think of at the moment.

        Hope that's some help for him!

              Callaloo (Amaranth, or various other leaves), samphire.

              I was going to suggest seaweeds, such as those used for laverbread and nori - but I'm not sure they really count as leaves. Depends how picky his teacher is! If biology homework, no, if cookery class - yes!
