chilli's and peppers still fruiting but plants starting to wilt, is it just a case of bringing them indoors to keep the plant from dying??? also my aubergines have i'd say mid size fruits on can i also bring these indoors, and will i be able to eat them?? they are turning purple now.........

Bren, we'll be starting an Early Tomato and Chilli thread [like last year's, before you joined up]; a few days after Christmas....and Hot Stuff will be hopefully reporting on his sowing on New Year's Day; so join in with the fun then. It's a tad too early now, it needs to be after the day start to get longer after the solstice.
