Do people out there think it is too late to plant some kale in some pots in the greenhouse or toher veg for that matter?

What kind of kale, Dianne and how big are the plants? My kale is all out on the plot and doing well - it is enjoying the mild weather we have had recently.

I've just harvested a load for tea. It's going great guns at the moment and usually lasts right through till late spring.

It should be alright being planted out. I doubt you'll get much off them for a while though, but kale's as tough as old boots so I doubt you'll kill them either.

I am presuming Dianne that you mean to sow seeds. I usually follow the philosophy that anything is worth a go if the cost isn't to high. Sow seed now prick out into pots sometime in Jan/Feb keep under cover in cold frame plant out after hardening off some time in March/Apr and you will get an early crop early summer. Worth a go.

Yes I did mean to sow seeds, just realised my post wasn't clear on that, I already have some on the plot but not very big so wondered if it would do better in the greenhouse, or am I just being impatient?

Worth the risk of a few seeds, especially as it is so mild at the moment, I'd say!
