    I gotta nasturtium

I know its mild, but....I found a nasturtium growing on my allotment. Granted, it is down in a sheltered hole (an upturned plastic bottle)

      Broccoli sprouting - redhead

Ok, grapes - a bit of advice, please!

I was just about to put a few seeds into jiffys of the above - because I wont need more than half a dozen plants - but a quick glance at the seed packet told me to sow May-June for a Mar-Apr crop.

Will it be ok to sow some now, and if I do, will it mean they will crop earlier or this a particularly late sowing variety?

I was just thinking of succession sowing. (NO, that is a HUGE LIE - I'm just itching to get a few thinks underway! )

I think the problem tends to be the risk of frost if you put them out too soon, having them go leggy by keeping them in too warm an environment and running out of space because they get too big before you can put them outside.

Have you not got any other seeds which are more suited to planting this time of year? That might just scratch your itch

Well I'm beside myself now, because it is MARCH and I've been looking at all those little seed packets, and there's lots and lots I can have a crack at!
