I was just wondering if i could plant cloves from the garlic i grew last year rather than buying a new pack, or would this create any growing issues???

I read somewhere, probably on here, that it is good to use some of your own crop, as it adapts to your climate. Don't know how true that is or how much difference it makes.There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

I've planted loads this year, hopefully enough to last till next year and enough to replant so I don't have to buy again. It's stupid pricey to buy (the stuff for planting). I read somewhere recently (though I don't believe it) that it's not a good idea to use your own for more than five years as it gets crapper and crapper and you will eventually have to buy new stock. I personally think this is a pile of cack and a ploy just to get the GYOers to keep spending. Pft.
