Best tasting cherry pot tomato

This year I've grown Garden pearl toms in pots, in previous years I've tried tumbling red and yellow.
They're all ok, grew well and tasted...ok, nothing brilliant.

I'd like recommendations for better tasting ones to grow in pots, I need dwarf plants, I grow GD in the greenhouse already, but grow these dwarf ones in pots and move them around alot.

I grew some Red Robin last year on the kitchen window ledge and found them pretty tasty. I also had Maskotka in hanging baskets which I found a lot tastier than some of the other basket type / tumbline varieties.

I grew Gartenpearl this year in hanging baskets. I must say that after all the negative feedback I'd heard about them, I was quite impressed and they were really bountiful and flavourful!

PS Still think gardeners delight take some beatng for taste, but the plants are massive!

I just found them not that tasty, maybe I need the right seed gene pool

Sometimes different soil and watering etc can make a difference to tomato taste. Too much watering can make them erm well, watery tasting!

I agree with Alison, so much depends on conditions. I grew the same variety both indoors and outdoors.. with completely different taste results. The one's in the sunny bay window tasted amazing, while the outdoor ones were rather unimpressive.

Over the winter if you buy some tomatoes and think.. "yumm.. these are great, I wish I could grow some like this".. save the seeds from a couple on a bit of kitchen towel, and plant them this spring!
