So how come ... I can buy plug plants for about £3 a tray (and keep the tray), but the trays alone cost £18?

I bought 5 plug trays at Reighton Nurseries between Scarborough and Bridlington, last summer (seems so long ago now). Each tray is about 80 plugs. Total cost £2. I think I'll allow myself a moment of smugness.
I know that Cupcake uses the nursery (she lives a few miles south of them, I live a few miles north) and we do agree that they are brilliant. If you ever visit this area they are well worth a visit - but leave your plastic cards at home. 
Plants at about one quarter normal GC prices.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
