I think they are great and well worth growing. Although plants will need protection from frost/cold, and the fruit seems to continue ripening through the winter. I've got a few plants in the green house, which is just frost free, with about 10 fruits left to pick.

When you get a good plant the fruit is really sweet, much like melon, little like pear. The plants seem to vary, some can be a bit bland, so might be worth growing more than one. I'm hoping taking cuttings from the yummiest and also saving their seed will help over time.

I have a couple of plants I purchased from Lidle last year, they grew alright but the fruits were rather small and never ripened so don't know what they taste like. Have them in the greenhouse at present, and am hoping to overwinter them.

They grow to 1-2 foot high, but they are quite bushy and the branches droop. I sometimes stand mine on an upturned pot to keep the branches off the ground.

Hopefully a photo attached, shot was taken at the begining of November.

I grew two plants outside in large pots. I got fruit on one but frost got to it before they ripened and I don't have a greenhouse. Did not realise they would continue ripening through Winter so could have put in my Dad's greenhouse

I only had 2 seeds germinate from 10 seeds for a bit hit and miss but goodluck!
