I went today to my local store and bought
Two packs of Rooster seed potatoes, a bag of vermiculite for pennies really. Also a quality ash handled forged stainless steel garden fork for just over £11:00. Similar in the local Wyevale was about £25:00.

I use them all the time, and they are on special at the moment.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

I don't mind the money, it's the mountain of rubbish going into landfill I'm upset about.
Mine are still fine. They lasted being reused a whole season and have started some off again this time. Off to get some more today.

And the rest of the bargains!

Has anyone bought the blueberries from there yet?

Went into my local(ish) Wilko's on Wednesday as I need lots of seeds and they still haven't got them in - surely it's not too early to expect them to have seeds? I did buy some shallots and seed tray inserts, as I needed to feel I was doing something productive!

Wilkinsons has recently opened up along the road from me (1 month ago), really need to get there to have a look at what they've got

Great to see Wilko's is slowly creeping north. Still a long way before they get to Aberdeen. It's one of the few things I miss about living down south. Every time we go down to visit MIL in the midlands we come back with a boot stuffed with Wilko bags.

I recently e-mailed their customer services to ask if they had any plans to open in Scotland and a really nice lady phoned me back to say they had just opened a store in Castle Douglas (only a couple of hundred miles away then rather than 500) and they were constantly looking for new sites.

I'd recommend that anyone who wants to see Wilko's in their area, contacts them to prove that there is a demand up here.

                              Cheers
