As usual my anticipation was more enjoyable than the reality of being jostled from pillar to post. Why do I do that to myself?? Could have predicted the outcome if I'd not got carried away.

Forgot that our town has been starved of Woollie-ness - and there'd be loads of people keen to get in and have a look-see.

On the gardening side I ended up buying some seed trays and red onion sets and left it at that -will go back on Monday to get a better look.

I don't mind the money, it's the mountain of rubbish going into landfill I'm upset about.
Thanks for the tip TS - I think it was just the overall excitment of actually managed to get to Wilkos that made me say that !

Working away from home at the moment and only being around at the weekends, I have also finally managed to get to Wilkos. I got some red and green grapes, a fig tree, a new propagator, gravel trays, some compost and some other bits and pieces. You just have to love Wilkos!

Also seen that Aldi has their seed packets back - at 39 p each...
Life's not always a party - but now that we're here, we might as well dance!

            Wilkos is amazing.

Whenever I go in there, I come out with stuff I didn't "think" I needed

Mind you that said, now I love going around Garden Centres.. yesterday I think we spent the best part of £100 in our local one. I have no idea what we bought either !!

I got a great digital one with two sensors, one for inside, one on a long wire for out, on eBay just a couple of weeks ago. It was £12 including shipping but is well worth it.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Sounds exactly like the one I got for £3.49 but I guess its personal choice at the end of the day.

I got one like this last week at the local garden centre - paid £10 for it - Digital Max Min Thermometer | Soil Testers & Thermometers | Gardening Equipment | B&Q Growing with Suttons:

Like one of the earlier posters i did check B&Q but couldn't find any - obviously didn't look hard enough did I.....
AKA - BigMatt over at Chillis Galore......

Second time since the beginning of the year I have been in (Its not that close as there's non in Southampton) and I bought
Cranberry - thanks for letting me know they kept them, by the way, as I have been after one for ages.
Lemon - saw it last time but resisted...couldnt this time...
some pink fir apple seed spuds (after my main supplier ran out....hmm)
                      various wild flower seeds
                      PH soil tester
and various kitchen stuff I really needed

I noticed they have water butts too starting at £13!

                      Please help me!!

Supraflyguy, I've been hoping they would open up one here, another forum i'm a member of talks about it constantly and I feel like i'm really missing out. Where in Glasgow is it?

Thanks for the help Bigmallly, I had checked that out already though and there is no Glasgow store listed.

I'm thinking that either the new store isn't listed just yet or its in Clydebank which is near Glasgow. A bit of a trekk for me but by the sound of it would be worth it.

It appears you are right Cazzy, the Clydebank store is coming up as being the closest.
