I grew squashkin last year and it is very good. It was a month earlier to set fruit than butternuts which are very difficult this far North, but not as early as Crown Prince, one of its parents. It is storing well and is very sweet. I will grow it again this year.

Bon-Bon didn't need fruit support when it was clung to a fence. The fruit weighs in around the 3kg mark but it does have a massive peduncle, considerably bigger than most squash of that side
