There is also the factor of interacting with nature in the fresh air versus interacting with your sofa and a reality tv show! Put that in your cost benefit analysis

And you can't put a price on smugness! I feel right smug when I know I've saved on supermarket prices AND got a better product!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

4 sweet peppers (4 fruit from each)
16 chili pepper plants
3 Varieties of lettuce, as well as rocket & land cress on continuous sowing in the 6ftx4ft greenhouse in pots, on benches
3 tubs of carrots sown late August for winter baby carrots.
I think that's about it.

Reetnproper I am amazed and astounded. What a fantastic effort and an inspiration to us all. I often tot up what the cost of the vegetables for a meal would be or for the week etc but never for an entire year.
What an achievement.
Great food, exercise, personal development and a real sense of achievement. Plus all the knowledge you have gained.
I am sure you will turn a good profit next year and every year after that.
