I grew them in the greenhouse. I tried outside, but only had a couple of small ones.

Thanks, I may try two lots, one inside and one out and compare the results.

Don't give up on peppers, 21again; there are so many different types and they grow really well in pots. Start them early indoors, together with your tomatoes and chillies, and they'll grow away like mad when you put them into their big pots.

I didn't give my peas or beans much chance last year; a fishbox doesn't really have the depth of soil they need. This year I'll give them a big deep tub and a wigwam of canes and see whether they prefer that.

Short carrots and the delicious round Parmex carrots grow well in pots. I intend to grow many more this year.

You can grow practically anything in pots provided that you take care to give the plant what it needs.........and there's no digging required!
