My book of plant breeding by Carol Deppe reported on a 'long life' tomato which looked gorgeous. She brought a couple home and had to spit out the first mouthful. It was horrible. As Snadger says, if they don't mention flavour - it's not good - why else would you want a tomato except for the flavour?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
